NEW SUZI STENCILS AT STENCILGIRL

GUESS WHAT!!
I've designed 3 new stencils that I can't wait to share with you!!
To see more about these stencils and to order go to

The stencils are

GARDEN DREAMS
ANCIENT MARKS
RIPPLES

Here are a few things I have done with them to introduce them to you.

Working in my handmade journal and using the GARDEN DREAMS and RIPPLES stencils, I came up with this fun piece.
"It's going to be a good day"

GARDEN DREAMS is a stencil that can be used for everything and I do just that!!
Here I cut out a stenciled piece of collage paper and made the sun.

And here you see the RIPPLES stencil making waves and ripples in the water.

In another journal I made up this "Garden" piece using the GARDEN stencil for the flowers.

*******
ANCIENT MARKS is a wonderful stencil I designed from a series of stamps I had made. I just decided to combine them to make this wonderful stencil that can be used for so many things. Great for back ground, borders or random markings in your art. Many uses for this stencil.
Below are a couple of painted papers I created with
ANCIENT MARKS.

I LOVE THEM! And I hope you will too!

ANOTHER TRANSFORMATION

Ever once in awhile, I just get to looking at a painting of mine and feel it's just not quite right.
That's what happened with a piece I did last year called "Glory"

It's not that I didn't like the piece because I did, but something was nagging me about it.
When I originally created the piece I was trying to convey a beautiful cluster of tulips growing wild in deep woods somewhere where there was darkness and the flowers were to represent the Light in the dark, the Glory of God.
But....the more I looked at it the more I felt the title "Glory" and the painting just didn't match...there was a "clash" there for me.
Now I can hear you..."wouldn't it be easier to change the title?"
Well, yes....but "Glory" was the right name...
So...I needed to change the image to project that title.
So here is the new image

So tell me what you think.
It's staying as is but I like to hear from you and
get your take on it.
